There is so much to love about elastic exercise tubes and bands: they are inexpensive, portable, and are generally safer than traditional iron weights. The engineers at Booyah FitWorks™ want to make your bands even more effective, so you can train strong, anywhere!

That is why we are developing the FitGrip™, a digital fitness device that attaches to the end of an elastic exercise tube, or cable machine: anything with a carabiner style connection! Set your target weight and time-under-tension and the onboard electronics do the rest. All of the convenience of exercise bands, with the ability to track 1-pound increments make this the ultimate device for strength training and therapy.

The Patented FitGrip features:

  • Attachment to any elastic band or cable machine
  • Realtime weight display with target
  • Rep counter and set stats
  • Time-under-tension counter with target
  • Ergonomic, rotating grip handle

What others are saying…

Dr. Eddie Jo, former director of the Cal Poly Pomona Human Performance Lab had the following to say about the FitGrip design:

“The FitGrip, both as a product and concept, solves a currently unmet need in fitness and sport which is the capability to practically quantify exercise variables that are otherwise subjectively measured. The FitGrip allows for data-driven changes to training intensities as well as real-time feedback during exercise. Altogether, the FitGrip is a practical, unique, portable, and needed addition to both personal and commercial fitness.”

Who We Are

Booyah FitWorks was founded on one principle: to help people! We want to make fitness accessible and affordable for everyone, to empower them to train strong, anywhere. Located in sunny Southern California, our Chief Engineer Thomas Osbrink has taken over a decade of mil/aero engineering experience and turned his skills to creating practical fitness solutions using embedded technology.  With a wife and four children, staying fit and healthy is a top priority.
